Activities

Also known as Chhota Kailash or Baba Kailash, Adi Kailash is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is considered sacred by Hindus, Buddhists, and Jains alike. Adi Kailash is the resting place of Shiva-The Lord of destruction. Adi Kailash is known as the replica of Kailash Mansarovar. It is scripted in Hindu Mythology that Shiva meditated and stayed at Adi Kailash for some time.

Adi Kailash is a gem of nature, snow-capped peak spreading its beauty around the valley. Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world join together once a year for a holy yatra around Adi Kailash. This Yatra washes away their unintentional sins and their Karma-cycle gets restored. It is believed the demon king Ravana, once prayed to Lord Shiva at Adi Kailash. Getting impressed by his prayer and worship Shiva granted him the power and brilliance of ten men.
